Join Us Saturday January 27th, 2018 For A 'Chautauqua'

**4pm to 8pm in the Creston Room at the Creston and District Community Recreation Centre**


A Full Plate: A Canada 150 initiative building an awareness of agriculture in the Creston Valley through the arts is hosting this event in conjunction with the Creston Community Art Council, Fields Forward and the Creston Museum.

This Chautauqua is a family friendly event bringing people together for information, participation and entertainment through art displays, scheduled music, spoken word and dance as well as a Community Dance.

In addition, A Full Plate Chautauqua will feature videos and slide shows of local agriculture, information booths from local food sector organizations and initiatives, Creston Museum interactive Displays and an Agricultural Mapping Project.

  • Children's activity centres will be available from 4pm-6pm.
  • Locally themed finger foods and refreshments will be served
  • Admittance is by donation

  • IF YOU ARE AN ARTIST, PHOTOGRAPHER, PERFORMER OF SPOKEN WORD, DANCE OR MUSIC
  • IF YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER before or during the event.
